The Revelstoke Railway Museum acknowledges and honours  the four nations on whose traditional territory we gather: the Sinixt, the Ktunaxa, the Secwepemc and the Syilx.

ABOUT THE MUSEUM

The history of the Canadian Pacific Railway through the Mountains of Western Canada is one about great changes in geography, industry and the movement of people, playing a pivotal role in the creation of Canada as a nation.

 

The Revelstoke Railway Museum plays a valuable and essential role in collecting, preserving and interpreting this history.

Through our partnership with Virtual Railfan, we aim to engage people from various communities and backgrounds. ​We often receive emails from viewers, letting us know when Wildlife crosses the racks, or when exciting railcars pass by!
